Atef Z. Elsherbeni received his B.Sc. degrees in Electronics & Communications and Applied Physics, and an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1976, 1979, and 1982, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada, in 1987. Dr. Elsherbeni began his career as a Software and System Design Engineer in Cairo (1980-1982) before serving as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Manitoba University (1987). He then joined the University of Mississippi, progressing from Assistant Professor (1987) to Professor (1997) and serving as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs (2009-2013). In 2013, he joined the Colorado School of Mines as the Dobelman Distinguished Chair Professor, later serving as Interim Department Head (2015-2016) and Electrical Engineering Department Head (2016-2018). He has held visiting positions at UCLA, Magdeburg University, and Tampere University of Technology and was named a Finland Distinguished Professor in 2009. An IEEE Life Fellow and ACES Fellow, Dr. Elsherbeni serves as Editor-in-Chief of ACES Journal and has held leadership roles in IEEE and ACES. He was General Chair of the 2014 APS-URSI Symposium and ACES President (2013-2015). Dr. Elsherbeni is an IEEE AP-S Distinguished Lecturer (2020-2023) and has received numerous accolades, including the 2023 IEEE APS Harrington-Mittra Award and the 2025 ACES Computational Electromagnetics Award for his contributions to computational electromagnetics and hardware acceleration.

Dr. Cristina Murillo Gómez received her Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea de San Sebastián. PhD in Project Management with a specialization in Corporate Social Responsibility. Master’s degree in systems development in Internet Environments. Master’s degree in social Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Open Innovation. European President of the Silicon Europe Alliance (2023) and National Vice President of the National Federation of Innovative Business Groups and Clusters since 2020. Coordinates the Basque Microelectronic Hub initiative in the Basque Country. Her duties include representing GAIA in European and international alliances. She defines, designs, and develops projects that directly or indirectly respond to the needs of member companies and other clients, as well as the internal needs of the cluster itself.

Luigi Fortuna was born in Siracuse (ITALY) in 1953. He received the degree of Electrical Engineering (cum laudae) from the University of Catania in 1977. He was researcher in Electronics up to 1987 when he became Associate Professor of Automatic Control. In that a period he was more time visiting researcher at the JET (Joint European Torus) in Abington (UK) where he worked in the design of control apparatus of the JET machine. Since 1994 he is Full Professor of System Theory. Since 1987 he taught 75 courses at the University of Catania regarding all the topics related to Automation, Operative Research and Bioengineering.

Abul Azad is a Professor in the Engineering Technology Department at the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Northern Illinois University (US), where he has also served as Associate Dean. His expertise is in systems engineering and its practical applications, with a particular focus on the internet of things (IoT), cyber-physical systems (CPS), mobile robotics, and engineering education. Professor Azad has secured competitive research and development funding in both Europe and the U.S. and has published numerous technical papers and books. He holds leadership roles in various professional organizations and manages editorial responsibilities for several technical journals. He previously served as President of the Global Online Laboratory Consortium (GOLC) and Vice-President of the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE). Currently, he is the Secretary of the IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee (LTSC). Professor Azad has also been a program evaluator for the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and active in evaluating research and development projects for national and international funding agencies.

Mohamed El Hadidy (Senior Member, IEEE) received his M.Sc. in Electrical and Communications Engineering (with distinction) from the University of Kassel, Germany, in 2004. In 2005, he was awarded a doctoral scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This enabled him to complete his PhD in 2009 at the Institute for Communication Technology at the Leibniz University of Hanover. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as Assistant Professor for Electronics and Communications Engineering at the German University in Cairo, Egypt, leading international research projects on UWB MIMO communication systems, Cognitive Radios and Interference Alignment Wireless Technologies. From 2010 to 2018, he was a research group leader at the Institute of Digital Signal Processing at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In March 2018, he received the title of Professor for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Germany. From March 2022, he is Professor of IoT and Digital Communication Technology at RheinMain University in Germany. Prof. El Hadidy is a reviewer for several international IEEE transactions and conferences. He chaired the IEEE Middle East Conference on Antennas and Propagation 2016 and has been a keynote speaker and co-chair of several IEEE conferences. He has received the Simulia Champoin Award for the year 2025 and he is recently leading several research projects with Monash University in Australia on Chipless RFID Systems. He has more than 80 international publications, one patent and two books.

Amar is professionally experienced AUP R&D 28 years. He has accrued laboratory and engineering including radiation lab involving specialized instrumentation combined experience in quality assurance, and control and research and development (LENR) approx. 26 years. Amar has professional communications experience (includes sales and marketing of products) of nearly 31 years including making films, talk radio, public presenter, and written works found through various media platforms. Amar has taught and coached K-12 and higher education in several capacities (academic advisor, mentor, adjunct instructor, licensing instructor, teacher, tutor, and demonstrator) accruing 18 years. In addition, Amar worked in private security and maintenance accruing at least 22 years involving direct public interface (legally documenting most if not all human/sometimes wild animal activities from the normal to the abnormal including the need for variety of official public resources frequently involving law enforcement, and rare instances detectives. Lastly, Amar has subjectively and objectively investigated (including a lead in personal encounters with “peri” normal investigators) high strangeness (including personal tragedies) stemming back to circa late 1970s to the present day. All of Amar’s professional experienced years overlap.

Dr. Farhad Rezazadeh received the Ph.D. degree (Excellent Cum Laude) in Signal Theory and Communications from Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain. He is currently an R&D engineer at the CTTC, Barcelona, Spain. He participated in 8 European and National 5G/B5G/6G R&D projects with leading and technical tasks in the areas of Applied AI and XAI. His AI innovation in B5G/6G resource allocation was recognized as a great EU-funded Innovation by the European Commission's Innovation Radar. He was awarded the first patent connected to the H2020 5G-SOLUTIONS project. He was a secondee at NEC Lab Europe and had scientific missions at TUM, Germany, TUHH, Germany and UdG, Spain. He is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Ph.D. grantee and won 5 different IEEE/IEEE ComSoc grants, 2 European Cooperation in Science and Technology grants, and a Catalan Government Ph.D. Grant. He is an active member of IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE Spain - Technical Activities and Standards with more than 30 top-tier journals/conferences and book chapters. He actively serves as Organizing, Chair, Reviewer, and TPC member in IEEE and Guest Editor in Elsevier. He has over 220 verified reviews for peer-reviewed publications. He coordinates the Trustworthy Internet of Things (TRUST-IoT) working group within the IEEE IoT Community.

Paankaj Kulkarni (Senior Member, IEEE USA) is a distinguished telecom professional with over 16 years of impactful experience in cellular telecommunications, spanning 2G to 5G and now leading advancements in 6G technologies. He currently serves as the 6G AI-ML RAN Innovation Lead at HNNOIX, India, a cutting-edge telecom startup, where he focuses on patent creation, 3GPP standardization, and pioneering research in next-gen wireless communication. A graduate in Electronics Engineering from Pune University, India, Paankaj specializes in embedded multi-core DSP software architecture, firmware, and system optimization. Ahmed M. A. Sayed is an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, where he directs the MSc Data Science programme and leads the SAYED Systems Group. His research focuses on designing scalable, adaptive, and efficient distributed systems, with particular emphasis on decentralised AI federated learning, privacy-preserving ML, and networked systems. He is the Principal Investigator of the UKRI-EPSRC-funded KUber project, in collaboration with Nokia Bell Labs, Samsung AI, and IBM Research, aiming to develop knowledge delivery systems for machine learning at scale. Previously, he held research positions at Huawei Future Networks Lab and KAUST, contributing to advancements in network optimization and distributed systems. His work has been published in leading venues such as NeurIPS, ICLR, MLSys, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICDCS and ACM EuroSys

Prof. Hanshen Li received his B.S.E. degree in Electric Power Engineering and Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, and the M.E. degree in Information, Production and Systems Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, and M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from SJTU, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China. Prof. Li has been a researcher at China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (EPPEI) since 2023. His research interests include planning and operation of active distribution networks, where Li has published 50+ papers with over 200 total citations. He has been an editorial board of Journal of Energy Science and Technology since 2023, and also member of IEEE, IEEJ, CSEE and CES.

I studied Computer Engineering at İzmir Institute of Technology, where I enrolled in 2012. During my first year, I founded my own company, developing technologies in various fields. One of my most impactful ventures was Bi’Komşu, the world's first "bill on the hook" platform, launched during the COVID-19 pandemic with Aykut, Ezgi, and Berkan. This initiative enabled millions of Turkish lira worth of bills to be paid directly, inspiring major metropolitan municipalities to establish large-scale versions, covering over 100 million lira in bills. In 2021, my interest in mobility and sustainability led me to establish Scootable, making us the first Turkish company to receive investment from EIT Urban Mobility. Scootable expanded into Europe and gained global recognition. To deepen my expertise, I pursued a master's in Sustainable Energy at İzmir University of Economics in 2022, researching electric mobility. In 2023, I founded GridPlanner to address challenges in energy and mobility, securing Pre-R&D support from GDZ Elektrik. Lamia Youbwas in Batna, Algeria. She received the BSc. Degree in the electrical engineering, from the University of Batna, Algeria in 2002, and she got her Ph. D degree all in the electrical engineering from Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania, 2007.
